Transcripton: Parte de Nós is born from the desire to investigate how we listen to the world and to one another. It arises from the wish to understand how we can still find unity in times of deep polarization. We created a speculative fiction about Nô, a vanished sacred bird who, according to myth, spent years alone searching for another being who could sing with the same throat. This search is also our own.
I bring my grandmother and our shared history to the stage. For this reason, the relationship between grandson and grandmother is central to the work. Before any book or theory, it was our elders who taught us how to listen and how to imagine. They were the first to tell us stories about who we are, where we come from, and what we belong to.

The fable invites the audience to reflect on the origin and evolution of life and to imagine possible futures for the planet. The sacred bird represents our own loss of a sense of community and the consequences of capitalist processes of individualization. In searching for the disappeared bird, the audience reconnects with the collective memories we carry as humans and with the beauty that exists beyond what can be explained by science, culture, or religion.



The name Nô, echoing the word “us,” evokes the central axis of the work: the awareness that we are part of one another, that we share stories, affections, and a common ecosystem. It is within this intertwining that both our fragilities and our shared strength are revealed.
